| Green Gases use green power
to process, compress and store a wide range of gases. We are the only
gas supplier taking this ethical stand.
There are a number of sources of green power, but the one favoured on our site starts with cows….. in a field. Let’s call it ‘agricultural waste’. This and other wastes are broken down in the absence of oxygen by the
process of anaerobic digestion which produces methane - which in turn
is used as a fuel in a lean burn generating set to make renewable electricity.
And the cows are green, naturally! The overall process is shown in this schematic where hydrogen and oxygen
are processed from water. |
